what you need:

  • internet access
  • valid email address
  • zip code for your home address
  • Identification number found on your ID card
  • group number found on your member ID card
  • other personal information

what to do:

  • visit: www.bcbstx.com/member
  • click on the orange ” Register Now” button
  • review the required information to make sure you have all the required details
  • click on the orange “Continue” button
  • type in your first name in the space provided
  • type in your last name in the space provided
  • from the drop down box select your relationship to the subscriber
  • from the drop down boxes input your birth date
  • type in your email address in the spaces provided
  • type in your ID number in the space provided WITHOUT the letters in the space provided
  • type in your group number exactly as it appears on the card in the space provided
  • type in the zip code on file with BlueCross BlueShield in the space provided
  • click on the orange ” Next” button
  • proceed to provide all additional requested information and continue forward until you complete the online set up and receive the confirmation
