- create and type in your avatar name in the space provided
- create and type in a password in the spaces provided
- type in and provide a valid email address in the space provided
- input your date of birth
- to prove your are not a robot, click the appropriate box
- click on the “Create IMVU Account” button
- download the IMVU software and install it and follow the prompts provided
