Instagram is a free app developed by Mike Krieger and Kevin Systrom but was sold to Facebook in 2012. Currently they have more than 400 million users. Instagram users can find and follow the picture and video stream of friends, family and other accounts that capture their interest. Accounts can be set to be public or private. These photos and videos can also be sent/linked to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and other compatible social networks.
