PBS KIDS allows kids to create an online account for safe access to videos, tv shows, app and their friends. They can access the Secret Box and the Cartoon Studio and save their games and creations.

If you are a new or current kid/parent that needs to activate your child’s PBS KIDS online account, read below. We have provided a quick “how to” activation guide below to access the activation page to activate your child’s PBS KIDS online account.

what you need in advance:

what to do to get PBS KIDS online account:

visit: http://pbskids.org/profile/
click on the “I don’t have a username” button
create and type in a user name in the space provided
click on the “OK” button
NOTE: you may or may not get suggestions on the next page
once a user name has been selected, you will need to choose the suggested password OR create a new one and then select the “OK” button
create your secret code by selecting the favorite pictures
NOTE: you may use a secret question instead by clicking on the link “Use secret question instead”
when done click on the “OK” button
place the username and password in a safe place
click on the “Done” button
you will not be logged into the new account as can be seen in the top left hand corner
NOTE: you may click on the username to find saved creations, build a character and add friends
