What is a Hatchimal? A Hatchimal is a magical creature that lives inside of an egg. It will be a surprise to find out which of the two available interactive Hatchibles you will receive. Once your Hatchimal has hatched you will need to care and love it. It can light up its eyes and makes cute sounds to let you know how it’s feeling.

You will first need to hold and play with the egg and when you have played with it enough, you’ll see rainbow eyes which means it is time to hatch. This process can take up to anywhere from 25 to 40 minute. Hatchimals can’t hatch on their own. You will need to be there to touch and encourage them to peck their way out of the egg. After the hatching process, you will need to raise your furry Hatchimal through 3 stages (how to tell what stage it is in), from baby to toddler, to kid. You will know when it has reached a new stage because it will sing “Hatchy Birthday” each time it enters a new stage. You will need to teach your Hatchimal how to walk, dance, talk, play games and more! Once it has gone through the stages, you can press the small reset button on the bottom of your Hatchimal with a paperclip to reset it to “Baby”. Only spot clean your Hatchimal.
