- a mobile device, computer or tablet
what to do if you are a current customer:
- visit: https://online.americanexpress.com
- from the drop down box select the type of American Express account you want to access
- type in your current user ID in the space provided
- type in your current password in the space provided
- click on the “Log In” button
- begin managing your account
what to do if you are a new customer:
- visit: https://online.americanexpress.com
- click on the link titled “Create New Online Account”
- type in your 15 digit card number in the spaces provided
- type in your 4 digit card id in the space provided
- click on the “Continue” button
- provide all the requested information on the “Account Preferences” page and move forward
- provide all the requested information on the “Optional Services and Card Benefits” page and then submit your request to create an online account
- if you are not already, login to access your account
