- click on the red “Log on” button located in the top right hand corner
- type in your current user name in the space provided
- click on the red “Continue” button
- provide any other required information to complete your log in
- once logged in click on “Activate new card” and proceed to follow the online prompts to complete the activation process
what to do if you are a new customer:
- visit www.hsbc.co.uk/activatecard
- click on the “Register” button located next to the red “Log on” button in the top right hand corner
- type in your date of birth in the spaces provided
- type in your credit card details in the space provided OR click on the “Account details” radio button then type in your sort code and account number in the spaces
- click on the red “Continue” button
- provide and complete the online account set up and be sure that you are logged in
