what you need in advance:
- internet access
- have an official Optus SIM Card
- valid ID such as:
- medicare card
- driver’s license
- passport
- personal information
what to do:
- visit: www.optus.com.au/activate
- scroll down and find the space provided to type in and provide your SIM card number which is either 13 or 19 digits long
- click on the “NEXT” button
- type in and provide all the required personal details in the spaces provided and move forward
- type in and provide your number, plan, identity and recharge information
- continue to move forward until you activate the SIM card and received your Optus SIM activation confirmation
