Square Up allows you to accept credit card payments right from your Apply phone or iPad or Android phone. To sign up is free. Once you have your Square Reader you will register it and use the app to start using it. It will send receipts by email or text You will only pay a fee when you sell or use Square. After signing up you will receive a free Square Reader. In 2014 the price per swipe is 2.75% and you will receive the money within two business days.
After you apply and receive your Square reader, then you need to activate your account. We have provided a quick “how to” activation guide below for you to activate your Square account online.

- internet access
- a valid email address and password
what to do:
- visit www.squareup.com/activate
- proceed to enter in the email address you have on file with Square in the space provided
- proceed to enter in the password in the space provided
- click on the “Sign In” button
- proceed to provide all the remainder required information in order to complete the activation so that you can now receive your activation confirmation
what to do if you are new to Square:
- visit www.squareup.com/activate
- click on the link titled ”Sign Up”
- proceed to enter in the email address you have on file with Square in the space provided
- proceed to enter in the password in the space provided
- click on the button titled “Create Account”
- proceed to provide all the remainder required information in order to complete the activation so that you can now receive your activation confirmation
