Vonage is best known for letting you connect with friends and family or business contacts by using your high speed internet connect instead of using a land line. This is cost effective and provides you with more options for communications. We have provided a quick “how to” activation guide below for you to activate your new Vonage Device.
how to activate- Vonage Device
what you need:
- internet access
- Vonage device
- the packaging information off the sticker of the Vonage device for the 12 character long MAC/WAN address
- address for emergency contact
- credit/debit card for payment
what to do:
- visit www.vonage.com/activate
- click on the radio button that best suits you, NOTE: we will show the steps for a new customer who selects ” …activate a new account”
- click on the orange “Continue” button
- type in the MAC/WAN address that is on your Vonage device that is 12 characters long, NOTE: it will be made up of both numbers and letters
- click on the blue “Submit MAC address” button
- proceed to provide all the required information on the “Contact Information Screen” and continue
- proceed to provide all the required information on the “Payment” screen and continue
- proceed to provide all the required information on the “Order Review” screen and continue
- you will now receive a confirmation that you did successfully activate your new Vonage device
- final step:
- Plug in your Vonage device and start using it
